The Bahá’í communities in Horry and Georgetown Counties are actively working on building vibrant spiritual communities that reflect the diversity of the human family. We would love for you to join us. Our community building activities include: devotional gatherings, children’s classes for spiritual education, groups for youth and junior youth, and social action. These activities are supported by a dynamic training institute for individuals to learn together and prepare to be of service in their neighborhoods. People, from all religious faith backgrounds, come together to be of service and to build spiritual communities.

Bahá’ís believe that there is a crucial need facing humanity to find a unifying vision of the future of society and of the nature and purpose of life. Such a vision unfolds in the writings of Bahá’u’lláh.

The Bahá’ís in Horry and Georgetown Counties are working with friends in their neighborhoods to create spaces for children, youth and adults to learn how to grow spiritually and serve their communities together. If you want to be part of this process of building spiritual communities, or would like information on the Bahá’í Faith, fill out this form, or call 1-800-22-UNITE (1-800-228-6483) and someone from the Horry and Georgetown area will contact you.

Below there are links to several websites that provide further information about the community building process, and about the Bahá’í Faith itself. One of the basic Bahá’í teachings is, “independent investigation of truth.” We therefore encourage you to read and investigate, and then, through prayer and study, make a decision about joining hands with us in service to humanity.
